How faithful God can be. Everyday I go through the scriptures, I am drawn even much closer to Him. Trust me, you will never find any being like the Almighty. Let's touch on something that we can take home from this article.
We are going to be talking about faith. I know, you are thinking of how the article topic will connect. There are several ways. Jonah in the fish belly, Peter’s miraculous catching of fishes, the second fish catching miracle. We can also look at how Peter caught a fish as instructions by Jesus Christ and found the needed coins to pay for the temple tax.
There is still another left, the miraculous feeding of the 5000 with 5 loaves and two fishes. Is there anything to draw out from this scenario? First, I even had to consider what even triggered the miracle. It was the disciples of Jesus. Well, they went to Jesus and said something. What they did not understand was that they were actually placing a prayer request.
The people needed something to eat and well, even if the miracle was able to afford fresh (unprepared fish) and flour (instead of already baked bread), it would have been a big achievement to start with. Well, what I learned there is that when God wants to help, it does complete work.
Whatever God promises you will be a complete package. I picked this out from this event and it has been a source of strength even as I stepped into the office this morning.
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God has plans for us and not a casual one to start with. If Jesus could provide a well prepared fish in that wilderness to quench the current hunger of the crowd, how about you. If He can attend to a crowd of 5000 men (asides from women and children, then you are not too numerous for him.
To conclude, let me add, God is not going to leave you halfway, He will not give you half provision. He won't give you half idea or work on a project that is meant to stop halfway. Trust God more than yourself, it can sound difficult but it is not impossible. God has never failed those who put their trust in Him.
