A very rainy week and things have been rather in slow motion but not time itself. How surprising that Thursday just caught up with me and I still have a lot on my table to pull out. Sunday was hectic already to start with and it also because I wasn't having enough time for a break on Friday and Saturday.
I hope you know there is a difference between confidential sleep and I just slept off. Although the latter do happen at times it is not always enough to conclude as quality sleeping time. When you are also training yourself to curb excess sleep even in the midst of having so many things to meet up early, you will understand what I mean.
You just start feeling that sleep should be 4 hours in every 24 hours and you understand that this is not any easy task. One of my focus lately has been on capacity building and better management; both in business and ministry. Taking your prayer times seriously can be a hedge in the long run. If you are planning to make an impact or be visible in the realms of the spirit, be willing to sit up.
Maybe I should head back to how my night was. I had a prayer meeting to meet up with and by God's grace it was a success. What I didn't notice last night was that what I thought was just drizzling has been a heavy downpour with damages. Streets, roads and houses were flooded and well, we weren't such a victim because our area is not waterlogged from the entrance.
When I stepped out to run some early errands, I had to pity those who were overnight victims. Some have had to be scooping water from night till daybreak. It can be very stressful; your bed wet, your chairs, kitchen, dinning, parlor and you can start to salvage some of your books and several things that are easily damaged by water.
I am even considering the risk of electrical appliances and this is where it is advisable to avoid naked wires on the floors and also keep your changeover switch where it is easily accessible. I was considering what would happen if there was general electricity during that process.
Ok, maybe this is me thinking the vice; many are already wishing this week summarizes itself. My concern is meeting up with workload, others are thinking of salvaging properties and other house items.
Let me close the curtain here, it has been another day with several things to meet up with. Day 2 of our midyear prayer submit was today and we closed much later than yesterday. Let me try and sleep early; as we speak, it's almost getting to 10:30 PM. Goodnight everyone
