Corinthians 16:9 NKJV
For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
Do you have one? Oh!! Maybe you are that peace maker person. Note: being a man of peace doesn't translate that you don't have enemies or better translate, adversaries. It is not something to debate long on.
We are living in a creation of two original realms, the spiritual and the physical realms. So even if you are ignoring physical adversaries, the spiritual part of creation is or can be an opposition depending on which side you are on.
Maybe I should cite the story of Daniel here;
Daniel 10:12-13 NKJV Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. [13] But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.
Adversity is real. Being born again, having passion and hunger for the things of God is one thing, staying long enough to fulfill this hunger is another. We are in a world where powers are fighting the right people from getting it right.
You can be that person right now thinking of how you will use your ministry to affect lives but well, you are faced with different challenges.
You need to know that there are several tactics of adversity; it can come through a mental long term reality. You are looking for a reasonable sum of finance to push ministry. You can be looking for just enough time to continually sit down to study the scriptures and pray also.
So why is it seeming difficult? Many adversaries; the dark princes know that the moment you achieve this, men will come into the great light. So the strategy can be financial delays, working like an elephant and eating like an ant strategy. Of course, there are many bills to cater for.
Your entire day is stressful and you manage to sleep late at night. In the process, there is no time for a solid night prayer not to even talk about sitting with your Bible. There is not much time to keep needed consecration. The Holy Spirit has instructed you and well, time is ticking.
It can be locked into your entrepreneurial life. The business is not flowing as it ought to. There is debt to pay off at the end of the month. Or we can also talk of a struggling working force that is pushing you all into the production floor. Your mind is thinking business even before you go to bed and you can't discern anymore in your dreams. These are all strategies to limit your progress.
Do you remember the scriptures; ‘Many are called but few are chosen’. There is a need to make sure that your name is enlisted in the chosen few. Yes, you have a calling, you have a mandate, you are not a mistaken creation but you will have to fight the many adversaries to stand out.
