Asian countries are too hot. Not opposed, I would love to visit Indonesia, Malaysia, Bali, they all look inviting but likely too hot to stay for a long time. Really looking forward to visiting Australia, haven't been there but do hope we land there some time. Again, probably too hot.

Really felt welcome in Greece sir. Met a couple from Cypress, Bosnians, and several cultures around there as well. All really welcoming and friendly. Two of the kindest people we befriended were from Syria and Iraq. Too hot there too.

I'm with you about Mexico. I enjoy visiting but I have more bad stories than good. I don't check statistics or anything, but I wouldn't bet on safety gradually getting better there. The safety aspect of a life there and feeling like a target in both South and Central America keep those on my tour list. Not my live list.

And the search continues. I try to practice patience though, sir. I know everything I need will be there when I get there, gotta love this thing called life. If it wasn't so dang expensive here and health was guaranteed, I probably wouldn't have to search as far.

Are they lightening up in Oregon? We keep in touch with Pura's family and of course friends back home, Ca just sounds worse and worse. How do you compare with them?
