Anoche cuando el reloj marcó las 00:00 am abrimos las ventanas y realizamos un ritual, cómo me enseñaron en mi hogar desde pequeña, dejé que entrará el "espiritu de la Navidad" que da inicio el día 21 de Diciembre, solsticio de invierno (en mi caso que estoy en el hemisferio norte).

Cada quien lo adapta dependiendo de sus creencias o religión, pero normalmente ahumas tu hogar con una infusión de conchas de naranja, clavitos de olor, canela en rama y vainilla, enciendes una vela con el olor de tu preferencia y haces una carta agradeciendo todo lo vivido en el año actual y pidiendo deseos o anhelos para el año nuevo que se aproxima.

Brindamos con un vino tinto y comimos algo de frutas, pizza y un postre delicioso, tarta de queso. Es una tradición muy bonita y simbólica para muchos, a mi me encantan los rituales y me gustaría mantenerla en el tiempo de a modo que me recuerde en el transcurso del año todos esos anhelos que escribí desde lo más profundo de mi corazón.

Last night when the clock struck 00:00 am we opened the windows and performed a ritual, as I was taught at home since I was a child, I let the "spirit of Christmas" that begins on December 21, winter solstice (in my case I am in the northern hemisphere).

Everyone adapts it depending on their faith or religion, but normally you perfume your home with an infusion of orange peels, cloves, cinnamon sticks and vanilla, light a candle with the scent of your choice and make a letter thanking for everything you have experienced in the current year and asking for wishes or desires for the new year that is approaching.

We cheered with a red wine and ate some fruit, pizza and a delicious dessert, cheesecake. It is a very nice and symbolic tradition for many, I love the rituals and I would like to keep it in time so that it reminds me during the course of the year of all those wishes that I wrote from the deepest part of my heart.
