San Cayetano is the patron saint of the unemployed and administrative managers, but that is not the point. In Spain any holiday lends itself to go out, drink with friends, have fun and even not to work haha.
Yesterday my boyfriend and I walked through the center to look at the fair and we found a lot of people, a DJ playing super good music from the 2000's, many food stalls from different countries and others for entertainment such as darts, shooting, among others. Honestly I still don't know why it is so popular, I just know that every year they celebrate it and gather in the center of Madrid.
We tried a Cachapa with cheese from a Venezuelan stall we found on the way, the experience was not very good but for the price we are not complaining HAHA. Now start the festivities in Madrid and all these months will be a lot of fun and outings.
