Hello hivers and art lovers
Today I'll be sharing something personal, which is a portrait of my late dad.
12/11/16 I lost my dad, he was the very first person that discovered I had a gift that shouldn't be hidden, he believed in me right from day one.
This portrait is quite big, it's a 30inches by 40inches portrait, materials used are graphite pencil, charcoal pencil, charcoal stick, charcoal powder on Strathmore watercolor paper. I've spent these past weeks working on his portrait and it was definitely worth it.
I want to say thank you dad and keep resting.

The masking tape around the portrait created the very clean white margin you see here after it was removed. Check out the link below to see how I was able to do that.
