More than 90M HIVE is now on Upbit, 65% from the HIVE on exchanges, and 23% of the supply.
Not sure what can be done about this, that market is KYC gated for Korean users only and obviously the price there has been the highest in the last year and more HIVE has constantly been flowing there from other exchanges.
With 23% of the supply, this exchanges is sort of system risk for the chain.
Things might change in the future, as they have in the past. When the chain started back in 2020, for a short period of time Huobi had the highest liquidity for HIVE. That exchanges now has almost dropped HIVE with only 1M HIVE, down from the peak of 40M HIVE just two years ago.
One positive thing on this chart is Hive Engine, the second layer DEX is now fifth exchange with 5M HIVE.
Bithumb is a weird one, since it doesn't provide services to regular users, but to other exchanges only. It has around 8M HIVE.
A total of seven exchanges on the list above, there are few more smaller ones that hold small amounts of HIVE.
