All of us are looking at the USD chart for the price of HIVE.
But how is HIVE actually doing against BTC?
BTC seems to be getting more and more dominance as of late against every other coin.
Here is the chart:
This is an all time chart for HIVE to BTC, starting from March 2020.
It is a bit obscured because of the spike that happened right after the launch of HIVE, when it reached more than 10k SATS at the end of April 2020. This was short lived.
After April 2020, the price of HIVE in SATS terms kept going down until December 2020, when it reached its all time low of 400 SATS.
2021 was bullish for HIVE and the price kept getting momentum against BTC, and spiked at the end of the year to 5k SATS. Since then and in 2022 HIVE is losing momentum against BTC again, with some occasional spikes like in the summer of 2022 when it reached more than 3k.
When we zoom in 2023 we get this:
HIVE has been holding in the range of 1500 to 2000 SATS in the last months, with an increase at the beging at February 2023, and a small drop since then.
In conclusion we can see that HIVE to BTC price is even more volatile then HIVE to USD. A lows of 400 SATS and highs of 10k SATS. An overall average in the whole period is 1800 SATS.
