This festival is a symbol of luv and joy.In this day women dress up in different colours, specially in red and green colour. They apply mehndi and wear colourful bangles &ready. Like newly married women..
In our city many Teez festivals are held.The tradition is that on this day Swings fastened to branches of tree.In punjab Teez is known as teeyan.Women gather in one place and perform dance gidha.Tradition time married women visit their parent's house and enjoyed Teeyan, and received some gifts.
