Become a competent person, with great development and improvement in certain skills, abilities and knowledge, for a better successful performance in business and in the Christian life; It requires a long process along the way.
We do not become competent overnight. Develop skills and abilities to succeed in business matters and in personal life, of course, that is achieved over time.
The case of King David is an example of someone who became competent after a certain time. David acquired wisdom and developed his character over time. David knew that his development as a competent person needed time. When Samuel anointed David as king of Israel, David was only a teenager, but David did not automatically become king. In fact, when his ascent to the throne occurred, this took many years.
In the military camp, David was an experienced and successful warrior, with great skills, but this did not happen immediately. David began as a shepherd of a flock of sheep, whom he defended from lions and bears, until they were killed.
When David managed to face Goliath, he had already gone through a training process with wild beasts, in which David had developed skills to dominate and defeat them. When it was David's turn to face Goliath, God had already worked on David from an early age in his life, helping him grow in wisdom and confidence to develop his character of courage. In the same way, David's faith was increasing as God's presence in David's life allowed him to go through many unforgettable experiences.
When David faced Goliath, he had already developed some aspects, such as courage, trust and much faith that God was with him.
David became a competent person, endowed with skills and wisdom to succeed in different areas of his life.
Like David, we become competent by allowing God to work in our lives over time, so that we develop the skills, skills and knowledge necessary to perform successfully in the future.
Then David ran and stood on the Philistine; and taking his sword and pulling it out of its sheath, he had just killed him and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw their dead paladin, they fled (1 Samuel 17:51).
