In my case I come from a family of separated parents, my mother always made a great effort to get us ahead, so that we could study and lead a comfortable and above all happy life, I really remember my childhood very well, I have fond memories of her, I thank my mother for everything she did and does for us... on a day like today I value her life, her changes, her maturity and above all her support when I needed her the most.
I had the joy of sharing this weekend with aunts, uncles, grandparents, my in-laws, husband and daughter and having an amazing weekend spending time with family and being closer together. Being able to be together is a blessing that not everyone has. But going out to the park, enjoying a delicious sweet treat, going for a walk or exercising together are things that make the routine and the days get better and better as a family.
Unfortunately nowadays there is a dismemberment of the family tree due to the number of people who have had to leave their families and migrate to other countries, in my case it happens with my sister. She has been away from her family for 4 years and on days like today we really feel nostalgic because someone dear to us is missing from our table.
Likewise, for the last 3 and a half years my pillar, my eyes and my strength, my maternal grandfather, has been absent. He has already gone to heaven, but his voice is missing at the corner of the table.
On a day like today there are many people who raise their voices to show that the family is not only made up of: mother, father and children. They are also constituted by mother and children, father and children. Giving value to each one of the families, no matter how it is constituted is a symbol of respect, admiration and personal and social growth, giving its importance so that those little ones grow up protected, with food and education is what we should value the most.
