Gardening and Traveling
My day was split in two halfs. During the day I spent time with my mum and helped her with some work in the garden.
At 6pm I left Jena and drove to Freiburg for 6 hours.
In the morning we did boring stuff again at home. Nothing really worth to write about. We had some food around midday and left her home after eating.
My mom got an alotment my grandfather bought for her about 40 years ago. We spent the whole after noon at this beautiful place of nature.
As a child we spent many weekends at this place. Playing in the sandbox, we had a huge swing and a little plastic pool. Nowadays the picture has changed. I rebuild the swing and the sandbox some years ago. And now nature is claiming back.
My mom is significantly getting older and not able to do much gardening anymore. But there are still many flowers and even some red and black currants ripen at the bushes.
She planted some new roses in the last years and is very happy with them now as they flowering very beautiful.
The upper part of the allotment is quite steep. So I took the scythe and scythed a part. It was really fun to do some agricultural work.
The results wasn't perfect but satisfying 馃榾
After I had finished the work, we had a coffee and some cake and it was time for leaving.
I gave a ride to three people. As I stopped at the pickup point I was very surprised. A little cherry tree was right in front of the car and I was there five minutes before time.
Guess what I did? It's obvious, I have eaten as much cherries as I could get from tree. It was delicious.
