Maxim Dadashev died after fighting with Subriel Matias. The Russian boxer exhaled his last breath due to brain hemorrhage.

Maxim Dadashev's duel with Subriel Matias took place at MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States on Friday (7/19/2019). This is the IBF light-walterwight class match (Internatinolan Boxing Federation).

The winners of this match will face Josh Taylor for the title race. Matias appeared dominant by continuing to hit Dadashev.

Coach Dadashev, Buddy McGirt then asked for the game to be stopped in the 11th round. This decision was taken because his children had too many blows.

Quoted from ESPN, Dadashev began to lose consciousness after getting out of the ring and unable to get to the locker room. He was then taken to UM Prince George hospital, Maryland.

At the hospital, a 28-year-old boxer got a diagnosis that he had a brain hemorrhage. The surgery is then carried out immediately.

After the operation Dadashev went into a coma before being declared dead on Wednesday (24/7/2019). McGirt said he was devastated having to lose Dadashev forever.

"As you can imagine, the news this morning has destroyed us all. In honor of his family, to not comment much at this time, except to say Maxim will always be a phenomenal man and boxer," McGirt told CNN.

Dadashev himself actually has a pretty impressive record in his professional boxing career. He won 13 times with 10 of them through KO and only once lost.

The Russian Boxing Federation is reported to be conducting an investigation immediately regarding Dadashev's death.
