I just wanted to share this interesting coincidence that happened recently. I had never heard the quote or phrase "creatures of habit" before, and if I had -- I just dismissed it. Until yesterday at my local REIA I was walked into the freemasonry lodge to the location where we usually have a REIA meeting (it's always at the same room). So I walk to the end of the hall and look to the room where it's supposed to be -- no one's there and the doors are shut.. Interesting I thought as I turned around to go back to a different room where I had seen a crowd of people lining up. Another guy notices me and says "no one there?" I said "nope.." He walked alongside me over to the room where the other people are lining up.. we had some small talk and the guy said "Creatures of Habit" .. I pondered on that for a second .. I responded to the guy.. " that sounds like a quote or something" .. he said "it is." So that was the end of that talk with him, and I had thought about it throughout the night .. "Creatures of Habit" and what it means -- I just thought it was self explanatory, but let me continue so I can share the odd coincidence.
I went into this holiday themed REIA and they gave me a ticket for some raffle.. I didn't think much of the raffle, I was holding the ticket meeting and greeting people as usual.
I saw Bill (the host) and walked up and spoke with Bill for a moment, I was smiling and just talking with him. He asks "did you find your bag?" (my black laptop bag that I lost a few meetings ago).. "no" I replied.. in an assumptive joking manner I said "but you can just give me a free book or something and I'll forget that I ever lost it" (because bill is always giving away free books at these meetings). After our talk I walk a little bit into a small crowd..
Some lady walks up to me and says "oh you have a raffle ticket, just take it to this gentleman at the podium" so I did, and I gave him the ticket, in a jovial and highly assumptive manner I said, "so what did I win?" as he looks at my ticket... he says, "yeah you actually did win" I'm not used to winning at raffles.. can't remember the last time I ever won a raffle.. perhaps the law of attraction and my assumptiveness have something to do with this. Anywho.. it was very random my selection.. there was an assortment of books and cd courses and tape cassette courses. I figured it didn't matter waht I chose, so I just picked the one that said millionaire on it, I figured it would be beneficial if it says "millionaire". It's really T. Harv Eckert " The Millionaire Mind "... so I'm holding this "Millionaire Mind" cassette tape course.. it has about 20 tapes in it - no book... so I'll have to record every tape to audio, convert it to mp3 and put it on a CD to play in my car because I don't have a tape player in my car.
So I have this course now.. I go home and I'm converting the course to CD for my car I made it to the 2nd tape and while I"m listening T. Harv Eckert says in the course "WE ARE CREATURES OF HABIT".... I pause and I'm thinking "wow"... "I heard it again..." mind you these 2 events - same day - are completely unsolicited and unrelated scenarios.
Let me skip ahead.. the following day - at my Stock Options Rich Dad Education - during this intense training course.. he says "We Are Creatures of Habit" -- this is the 3rd time I hear it from another completely separate source and completely unsolicited - it's not like I was having a conversation with the guy that I mentioned creatures of habit - no, he just came out and said this on his own will..... law of attraction? I'd say so.. What is the universe trying to tell me?
