It is like the little engine that could. It just keeps climbing and climbing and climbing. The only problem is that is still cant even see the top! There has been no dip in the price in the last few weeks. Usually the price goes up, people feel that it may have reached its potential and sell off a bit of there stake in order to grab some profit. No one believes that this is anywhere close to the roof, so no one wants to let go of coins that they are holding.
We are witnessing something amazing here. The more news it makes the more of the masses want in on it. The more the price goes up!
People making crazy predictions like (OR NOT SO CRAZY) one million dollar Bitcoin just add to the hype and make people want to hold onto their stake.
On the other side, it always seems like anytime there is a big spike in price there is also some sort of scam or theft surrounding Bitcoin in the media. This time it is the hack of NiceHash where an estimated 32 million dollars in Bitcoin was emptied from one of their wallets. Gives me memories of Mt. Gox back in 2014.
