It is a huge pleasure, #weekendexperience friends, to greet you.
It is always beautiful to share the accidents of happiness that usually happen on weekends.
It was Saturday the 26th of an almost dead April, @maylink and I were arriving to Las Tunas, a city where friends are like rosemary blooming in every neighborhood. Our plan was simple, share with friends, hugging
@iriswrite, to share a coffee with
@abelarte and
@elviguitarra (if time allowed), to get to the house of
@yuslenismolina and Argel, her husband; but first of all, responding to the invitation to have dinner with Rosmery and Yunier; a new couple friends who had been waiting for some time our visit.
So we did, we arrived in the afternoon of a turbulent Saturday, under the constant threat of rain. We walked all the way to Rosmery and Yunier's house. The encounter was beautiful, behind the humility and shyness of our hosts, there was a genuine affection that we wanted to reciprocate with pleasure. Although the clock limited us, the time with them was as spectacular as their attentions towards us and the delicious food they prepared for us.
Although the intentions were not enough to help us fulfill the initial plan. When we arrived at Yuslenis' house, we found out that they were celebrating Argel's birthday. Those were 62 powerful reasons for the weekend celebration to go up a notch and for the evening with them to begin in a small local café (The Coffee Time) under the influence of Frida's spirit, in the midst of a discreet and cozy atmosphere. Other friends joined to the celebration, poetry accompanied by beer also arrived and Saturday was tied with Sunday and the time in Las Tunas contracted in such a way that we have no other option but to return to embrace all our friends there, especially those to whom we still owe the hug, the visit and the coffee.
It was nice to have dinner with Rosmery and Yunier, to celebrate the 62 poems of Argel with Yuslenis and so many other dear friends, to walk in the shadow of Iris and her (dear) spirits, although we still have a Saturday with Abel and Elvira pending, in another weekend that we know will be as special as this last one.
Words are not enough, neither the spaces of the city, nor the photos, to describe how much good this city gives us, where we are happy every weekend that we can visit it.
