On my recent trip to Napa, I visited Nickel and Nickel Winery. They make incredible single vineyard Cabernets and the winery grounds are gorgeous. They apparently saved this barn from destruction by moving it to their property where they use it for winery operations. The reflecting pool in front of the barn made for an interesting photo and I hope you will find my painting of the photo equally satisfying.
The reference photo I took when I was in California was very nice but I decided enhance the colors in the reflection to make what I consider a more interesting painting. I hope you like it as well.
