Thoughtswamp Admiral

Too submerged in the complex to be lucid,
one might assume — drowning in data streams
running down in neon rivulets
to meet the surface, refracting
iridescent ocean of thought.

Though this scene, too, seems
an illusion of sorts for mind to ponder;
how from Self to self runs soulectricity
smooth, though in the stilted guise
of particles polarized.

In a clusterstorm to wander
across binary universcreen:
— flat blackwhitegrey —
monochromatic chemistry
of Monad mechanized.

Who comes to life in contemplation:
turns color-coded atoms,
scanned images for frock-coated,
tricorne-hatted connoisseurs
chasing their special kind of delusion afflicting
the intelligent — or so self-styled —
drowners in intricate delight
over wide thoughtswampèd seas.
