Shade my peak

original poetry

rust-mountain-peak-negative-mirror.jpg

Climb my mountain
of idealism—
Comb my dreads,
my matted sorrow.
                                Sink into my veins;
                               Dissolve my wires.
Magnesium flooding the ivory well
                         Melt my metal,
                           Parse my plastic
  with moonbeam words
& girlish tears.
descend my
summit
Apace the red sun.

Spelunking
into grey pink black red rhythm.
                             Swimming
through dark blue black orange sea.

Loving
suspended in ethereal revolutions.
Letting
flow the hovering stars.

Into my magmatic
landscape poured the glory
of her shade.
