Palace of Intrigue

vintage-castle-adjusted.jpg

Palace

.

Swirl of aphids
Descend on its
Own kind, the
Foglamp of
Crimson dust:
King of mummies,
Queen of storms.

.
.
League unending, a
Brotherhood of magic,
Sisterhood of stone.
Resplendent atmosphere:
Orb of a thousand fingers,
Hand of one million eyes.
.
.
.

Of

.
The glove which snugs,
Who is it pulls it?
Who was it wove the
Hand of sinew & bone?
.
Mitt of heartskin,
You comfort me.
Song of glass & wind,
You are a
Sweaty
Intrigue.
.
Mystery
Faucet,
You parched my
Extremities of clay.
You fed my
Overwhelming doubt
With coal.
.
Who inflated the lung,
The rambunctious balloon?
Who gave spume its fins
And the egg its monsoon?
.
.
.

Intrigue

.
Door to one billion rooms,
Keys that crumble to ocean foam.
Walls of air & mirror floor
Disappearing generations into a
Children's story book marching
One by one like Russian dolls
.
.
Skeletal Mistress,
Master of Plasmastion.
Iridescent slime
Encrusted lantern,
Self-devourment of
Vampiric mosquitoes,
Abstract cannabalism.
