Journeys through my paradox heart-ship

Clinging to a middling rung,
I am dullness amplified.
Stretched and turned out into the
Frozen street I am sharpness excercised.
In childbook stories swaddling wrapped
Grappling with the inversion of stark reality:
Our world hazy with promise, grey with pride.

The method in which I glanced upon the city
Seeing only specks of adamantine clarity
Has faded, evanescent, from my lobes.
Crabs walk upon the hills: litter
Trails with fluorescent goo to
Mutate our beloved biomes
With a saturnalian twinge.
I make peace with the
Crustaceans in my
Spaceship heart
And soar alone.

My taut vessel,
My sweet vassal
Propel the wind,
My beloved castle!

Swing through orbit,
Direct the currents,
Cosmic shorelet,
Sole assurance.
.
Deny my dullness,
Hands unhooked
Unpry my wholeness,
Hale, uncrooked.
