Arroz Caldo para sa kaarawan mo,
kasing sarap ng pagmamahal ko.
Arroz Caldo lugaw mong paborito,
lasang hahanaphanapin mo.

Anong sangkap, sahog, at rekado?
maliit na manok na pinagpira-piraso,

Mantikang pang-gisa,
isang sibuyas na pula,
kalahating ginadgad na luya,
at pira-pirasong bawang na lima.

Dadagdagan ng isa't kalahating bigas,
dalawang kutsarang patis at sibuyas,
Tunawin ang chiken cubes sa isang litrong tubig,
Wag kaligtaan halu-haluin at kainin nang di malamig.
