Hello everyone!

With today's post, I would like to introduce you to a The Eurasian wren (Troglodytes troglodytes).
It is one of the smallest birds living in Europe and, at the same time, it is very brave in defending its territory. It is very interesting that in his territory, during the breeding season, he builds several nests, most often very low in the bushes, and he attracts females to each nest separately. So the male is very busy when he is feeding the chicks because he has to supply food to several nests.

Witam wszystkich!
Dzisiejszym postem chcia艂bym Wam przedstawi膰 strzy偶yka (Troglodytes troglodytes).

From my experience, I can say that it is not a timid species, on the contrary, you can observe it very closely and of course, take pictures. It is enough just to sit relatively still and without sudden movements, and after a while, the birds get used to us and do not treat us as a threat, of course, if we do not exceed their safe distance.
Most of the photos presented here were taken from a portable hideout (tent), but the male wren felt safe enough that he set up one of the nests 20 cm from my hideout. When the female started incubating eggs, I stopped using the portable hut and left it in place until the chicks left the nest and became independent, so as not to stress the birds unnecessarily.

Z mojego do艣wiadczenia mog臋 powiedzie膰 , 偶e nie jest to gatunek p艂ochliwy, wr臋cz przeciwnie mo偶na naprawd臋 z bardzo bliska go obserwowa膰 no i oczywi艣cie robi膰 zdj臋cia.
Wi臋kszo艣膰 zdj臋膰 prezentowanych tutaj przeze mnie zrobi艂em z przeno艣nej czatowni (namiotu) jednak samiec strzy偶yka czu艂 si臋 na tyle bezpiecznie , 偶e za艂o偶y艂 jedno z gniazd 20 cm od mojej czatowni i gdy zorientowa艂em si臋 , 偶e samica zaczyna w nim wysiadywa膰 jajka to zostawi艂em czatowni臋 na miejscu i przesta艂em z niej korzysta膰 , a偶 do momentu gdy piskl臋ta opu艣ci艂y gniazdo i sta艂y si臋 samodzielne, by niepotrzebnie nie stresowa膰 ptak贸w.
