I've recently started investing in cryptocurrencies and am now cataloging my experiences via Youtube videos. So far so good, but I am still proceeding with caution. My three steps for remaining safe in the on-line bitcoin market(s) are:

1. Research vigorously before you put money into something.
2. Be honest with yourself. Don't invest anything that you are afraid to lose.
3. Fully document your journey for historical purposes. It could be that you may encounter some losses. That is not only a bad thing, as it can be good to claim losses on your taxes.
