I made a decision to quit using Google a few months ago. It is taking a while, since I have been using google since 2000 or so, after getting an early gmail invite. Unfortunately, more and more discouraging news has leaked out related to googles more secretive projects. A few months ago Gizmodo provides a rather public leak of the drone programs. This tech is incredibly dangerous for humanity as well as being unethical to be involved in.
Lately Elon Musk has spoken out against AI technology as well. There is a good reason to be concerned. The military endgame for this tech is to have a computer algorithm decide who lives and who dies. Major war powers need to re-evaluate their developments of this tech, asap.
