An interesting twist on Johnnie Walker's Black Label, Double Black was launched for a general release in 2011 after a successful launch in retail travel. Double Black adds to the normal Black Label profile by incorporating more Islay whiskey and a very charred barrel, providing a more intense flavor with a greater emphasis on smoke while remaining true to Johnnie Walker's sophisticated style.
