Greetings my dear friends of Hive, I hope you are very well this weekend! A while ago I started listening to the great Erick Clapton and suddenly I heard this classic 🤠 I shot the sheriff 🤠this song talks about a man who admits to have killed the sheriff of the town but not his deputy.

La canción fue escrita por Bob Marley en el año 1973 y fue lanzada en el álbum The Wailers Burnin' pero no fue sino al siguiente año que Eric Clapton realizó una versión de la canción y fue incluida en su álbum Ocean Boulevard la cual tuvo como consecuencia que el tema es extendiera por todo el globo terráqueo alcanzando la primera posición de la Billboard Hot 100.

The song was written by Bob Marley in 1973 and was released in the album The Wailers Burnin' but it was not until the following year that Eric Clapton made a version of the song and was included in his album Ocean Boulevard which had as a consequence that the song spread around the globe reaching the first position of the Billboard Hot 100.*
