The price of Precious Metals is moving up to where it should be. But, it is becoming tougher, to chase the higher priced items. There are favorites out there must be picked up, regardless of the price.
This Teal-Toned Beauty turned up in the junk box at the Local Coin Shop, a while back, and may have cost under $20 (USD). I know I have at least one other, very similar, that I posted last year.
But, I did pickup these three, tougher date, American Silver Eagles, also, scratch and dent for $33(USD), each.
I paid in paper fiat and got $1 in change.
This President/General Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower Dollar is not worthless paper. Today, its metal content (mostly copper) value, is almost a quarter dollar, $.25, but will never go to $Zero.
US fiat paper dollars comes from the privately owned, Federal Reserve Bank. Coined dollars come from the US Mint.
Thanks for looking. And keep on stacking.
