South Korea stops selling crypto coins through anonymous bank accounts. The country still wants to embrace the Bitcoin but limits the money laundering practices of criminals.
The intervention holds on January 30th as the IMF and central banks already called for more stringent rules. In the country the trade in crypto currencies has taken a flight under private citizens.
There is hardly any monitoring of trade in Bitcoins and other currencies. Who wants to do and transaction must identify with his bank in South Korea. The news led to movement in the quotes of crypto coins Bitcoin slumped to below $10,000 already recovered the rate later again to above $11,000.
