Posiblemente uno de los más bellos pueblos que hay. Se cuenta que cuando los cristianos reconquistaron esta ciudad, echaron a los musulmanes y los habitantes de la ciudad fundaron un pueblo nuevo en el Norte de África a imagen y semejanza de Vejer.
Possibly one of the most beautiful villages there is. It is said that when the Christians reconquered this town, they drove out the Muslims and the inhabitants of the town founded a new town in North Africa in the image and likeness of Vejer.
El pueblo de Vejer se alza en lo alto de un monte y la ciudad ha ido creciendo alrededor y dentro del castillo original. Desde Vejer se divisa la campiña gaditana.
The village of Vejer stands on a hilltop and the town has grown around and into the original castle. From Vejer you can see the countryside of Cadiz.
