Siguiendo el Primer post del castillo del Águila, os voy a enseñar la ciudadela y la parte alta de la fortaleza.
Following the first post of Eagle castle, I will show you the citadel and the upper part of the fortress.
El castillo tiene una ciudadela amurallada con una entrada con un recodo para ser mejor protegida. Dentro encontramos los cimientos de lo que parece una estancia, aljibes para almacenar agua potable y la torre del homenaje.
The castle has a walled-in citadel with a winding entrance for better protection. Inside we find the foundations of what looks like a room, cisterns to store drinking water and the keep.
La torre tiene dos plantas y desde la parte podemos contemplar la ermita y la parte baja del castillo.
The tower has two floors and from the part we can see the chapel and the lower part of the castle.
Lo más llamativo es la campana que es de obligado cumplimiento tocar la campana.
The most striking feature is the bell, which must be rung.
Los arcos que quedan en pie están en estado ruinoso y podría ser peligroso en caso de fuertes vientos.
The arches that remain standing are in a dilapidated state and could be dangerous in the event of strong winds.
En la parte más alta de la fortaleza se encuentra los restos de una estancia o cuartel para la tropa.
In the highest part of the fortress are the remains of a room or barracks for the troops.
Y alguna garita que aun queda en pie.
And some sentry boxes that are still standing.
