Vittorio was the second of the Littorio-class battleship that served in the Italian Regia Marina (Italian Navy).
Launching: 25 th July 1937.
Vittorio saw extensive service during the war.
He participated in all Italian military operations and in 1940 he took over the role of fleet flagship under the command of Admiral Inigo Campioni.

Vittorio was not sunk in the war, Italy surrendered to the Allies and the Vittorio was assigned to the British as a War damages, it was disassembled and melted for other purposes, but his cannons were assigned to the former Yugoslavia and were used on the "Zirje" Island as a coastline protection zone.
When the Yugoslavia broke up in 1990 and when it came to war, these cannons played a key role in defending the city of Sibenik (my city).
