Did you cried already?
My sister asked me after 3 days of the released of results for Licensure examination for Chemical Engineering. Told her nahh I'm fine. I failed the exam with 65.7 average (the passing is 70). For those who don't know, here in the Philippines there are professions that have board exam like Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, and a lot more. Most companies won't accept you if you haven't passed your board exam. That exam adds value to your career and make you more credible, even if you've already completed your bachelor's degree, passing that licensure exam is a must.
However, there are several companies too that don't require you to be a board passer to start working. Sadly, you'll receive less compensation compared to those employees who have licensed, plus the government don't allow signature of a non-passer if they're working in a project.
I've heard that in some countries, board exam in most courses is not compulsory. After graduation, you can immediately start applying for work.
The result of my examination was released last Monday. I didn't see my name. Hence, I failed.
I am sad but I didn't cry. I feel so ashamed because my parents and sister funded my review center fee, and I am disappointed with myself. But I didn't cry.
I want to start working but I don't want to be away from my family so I'm struggling to find work near my hometown. Still, I tried applying for companies. I also explored some online earning jobs and I hope to find legit one. I will continue to write here because I enjoy this a lot. I hope y'all still support me as always 🥺 thank you so much for always making me feel valued and appreciated 💗
