Now I get it. I would normally tell my family and friends to set aside 3-6 months of emergency funds which are sufficient enough. The No Touch fund is very interesting to me and I finally get it now as you explained it. I would like to think of it as a Long-term Savings fund... however a "No Touch" has a more determined purpose to it, which is to keep it safe/untouched no matter what the situation.
Do you have a basis on how much the "No Touch fund" should be?
