Todos fumar铆amos solo tabaco en escena y y usar铆amos sombreros de yarey con la fibra sobresaliente en los bordes.
La idea fue creciendo con los a帽os, a帽adimos todo tipo de detalles que realzaran la est茅tica agroindustrial de nuestro proyecto medio en broma y medio en serio.
Hoy creo que como j贸venes metaleros intent谩bamos reconciliar el medio en que viv铆amos con nuestros intereses musicales. Lo curioso es c贸mo, en vez de negar el paisaje agr铆cola que nos rodeaba, intent谩bamos asumirlo como un elemento central.
Supongo que de cierta forma intent谩bamos conciliar la realidad con esos sue帽os de superestrella que todo joven tiene. El punto era no perder la esperanza de saltar alg煤n d铆a por sobre lo que consider谩bamos un obst谩culo.
Reflej谩bamos sue帽os, realidades y aspiraciones en una sola gran imagen, combinando el humor intencional con una buena dosis de ingenuidad y m谩s de un trago. Como dec铆a mi amigo: si Slipknot le pega con un bate a un barril de cerveza y Manowar sube al escenario en Harley Davidson, nosotros podemos podemos llegar en tractor y aporrear un disco de arado.

A great friend of mine told me a few years ago that we had to form an extreme metal band, but that wasn鈥檛 enough, to stand out, we needed a recognizable image.
The conversation kept going, and soon we landed on the sonic and visual identity of the future band. Ours would be progressive agricultural metal, a full-blown explosion of freshness and sonic innovation.
Our image? A mix of workwear and agricultural machinery. The sound? A blend of Six Feet Under and Machine Head, with plenty of tractor sound samples.
On stage, we鈥檇 only smoke tobacco and wear yarey straw hats with the fibers sticking out at the edges.
Over the years, the idea grew. We added all kinds of details to enhance the agro-industrial aesthetic of our project, half-joking, half-serious.
Looking back, I think that as young metalheads, we were trying to reconcile the environment we lived in with our musical interests. The funny thing is how, instead of rejecting the agricultural landscape around us, we tried to embrace it as a central element.
I guess, in a way, we were trying to merge reality with those rockstar dreams every young person has. The point was to never lose hope of someday leaping over what we saw as an obstacle.
We reflected dreams, realities, and aspirations in one grand image, blending intentional humor with a good dose of naivety, and more than a few drinks. As my friend used to say: If Slipknot hits a beer barrel with a bat and Manowar rides Harley Davidsons on stage, then we can show up on a tractor and smash a plow disc.
