I have been following a girl on Facebook for a while now who shares videos about the art she makes, and for some time now I have seen all of her Papercraft creations and seeing her Turbo Granny creation greatly motivated me to make my first paper figurine.

Llevo tiempo siguiendo a una chica en Facebook que comparte videos sobre el arte que ella realiza, y desde hace un tiempo he visto todas su creaciones a base de Papercraft y ver su creación de Turbo Abuela me motivó grandemente a realizar mi primera figurita de papel.

I must clarify that I saw the design in the girl's video and it seemed easy to me, in fact, everyone will think it is, but there are parts that can be very confusing, but the final result is very satisfactory. I wanted to make the pieces myself but they told me to try printing the pieces this time, and I must say that that was a very correct decision.

Debo aclarar que vi el diseño en el video de la chica y me pareció fácil, de hecho, todos pensaran que lo es, pero hay parte que te llegan a confundir mucho, pero el resultado final es muy satisfactorio. Yo quise hacer yo mismo las pieza pero me dijeron que intentara esta vez imprimiendo las piezas, y debo decir que esa fue una decisión muy correcta.

Turbo Granny is a character from the manga known as Dandadan, she has currently become highly famous for the anime that Netflix dared to make, making a wonderful ending with the anime in 2024. Turbo Granny is a demon that causes a lot of problems for the protagonists who becomes highly important throughout the story, obviously I love her personality and that's why I fell in love with this Papercraft, since with this cat appearance it is epic.

Turbo Abuela es un personaje del manga conocido como Dandadan, actualmente e ha hecho altamente famosa por el anime que Netflix se atrevió a hacer, haciendo un maravilloso cierre con el anime en 2024. Turbo Abeula es un demonio que causa una gran cantidad de problemas para los protagonistas que se vuelve altamente importante a lo largo de la historia, obviamente me encanta su personalidad y por eso me enamoré de este Papercraft, ya que con esta apariencia de gata es épico.

Cutting the pieces was very simple, in fact it is my favorite part, because I have a good pulse for cutting paper, a gift I have had for many years. In this step I learned very important details about this art, which is that you should make all the folds before gluing, you will see that it will be easier.

Cortar las piezas fue muy sencillo, de hecho es mi parte favorita, porque tengo un buen pulso para recortar papel, un don de hace muchos años. En este paso aprendí detalles muy importantes sobre este arte, es que deberías de hacer todos los pliegue antes de pegar, verás que se te hará más sencillo.

I first assembled these pieces that you can see here, the head is assembled in 2 parts (here my torment began), you must observe these pieces very well so you can understand where each one goes. I also realized how these pieces were made in a perfect way in their details, even if you don't believe it, there are every indication in the piece, this gave it a touch of quality in its completion.

Armé primero estas piezas que pueden observar aquí, la cabeza se arma en 2 partes (aquí empezó mi martirio), estas piezas las debes observar muy bien para que puedas entender en donde van cada una de ellas. Al igual que me di cuenta de como hicieron estas piezas de manera perfecta en sus detalles, por mas que no lo creas ahí están cada cada indicación en la pieza, esto le dio un toque de calidad en su finalización.

I really liked placing her arms, it gave her the shape I expected, Turbo Grandma has the attitude that is shown there, when she is a cat she is totally harmless, and she always has a lazy attitude, this gives a touch of attitude to this appearance of hers.

Colocarle sus brazos me gustó mucho, le dio la forma que esperaba, Turbo Abuela tiene la actitud que se muestra ahí, cuando es una gata es totalmente inofensiva, y siempre tiene una actitud de pereza, esto le da un toque de actitud a esta apariencia de ella.

I had reached the part of her legs and I started watching the video of the girl I follow like 10 times to understand it, but that's how I managed to get to her place which made perfect sense in the end. When putting together these pieces I decided to be as neat as possible so as not to dirty any of her pieces.

Había llegado a la parte de sus piernas y me puse a ver como 10 veces el video de la chica que sigo para entenderlo, pero así logré llegar a su lugar el cual tenía todo el sentido al final. Al armar estas pieza decidí ser lo más pulcro posible para no ensuciar a ninguna de sus piezas.

The final part was her ears, which confused me a lot. It was very difficult to figure out their position, but by using my brain a little I managed to get to their correct place. This piece is incorrect, it doesn't have the color it should, those who know the character will know, I left it like this so as not to damage it. This was a craft that I really enjoyed doing, it was very stress-relieving and entertained me for a while, I liked it because it made me disconnect from the world for a while.

El final fue sus orejas que me confundieron mucho, fue muy difícil descifrar su posición, pero al usar un poco el cerebro logré llegar a su lugar correcto. Esta pieza está incorrecta, no tiene el color que debería, los que conocen el personaje sabrán, la dejé así para no dañarla. Esta fue una manualidad que disfruté mucho hacer, fue muy desestresarte y me entretuvo por un buen rato, me gustó porque me hizo desconectarme del mundo un rato.
