In the generation of today's young children, that we've got gadgets right now. Some kids just might not want books. But not this book from Grolier. Grolier's Fun Thinkers. It's a puzzle game my son enjoys playing. And other kids would do so.
It has 3 categories: English, Math and Thinking Skills, in different levels.
Right now, we're having the english level 1 and 1+ for my 2-year old. Topics like colors, shapes, letters- upper case and lower case, and more.
This is how it works. It comes with a board with 16 tiles in number to be aligned on the book's page(s)to be able to play the puzzle. Pick up the first tile and find the corresponding picture seen on the next page. And so on.
Once done, just close the board and flip it over to match the colors at the back of the tiles with the illustration seen at the top right corner of the page. If both match, answers are correct.
It comes with a parent's guide for a more detailed answers.
It's a fun activity to do at home. True to what it says:
Learning is fun with Fun Thinkers
