People are screwy
Saw a comment today on Facebook, on a post where a friend of mine was talking about this amazing piece of art. It's something you see a lot online, but this time it bothered me. Something to the effect

Another Blockchain based social network
Morning everybody. Just discovered a new blockchain based social network. This one's a LinkedIn replacement, and it looks pretty solid. The service is called Indorse. Right now, basic profiles are live,

You'll be glad to know that I finally got ipfs working. And it's damned sexy. Totally fucking worth it.

Something I love, or not.
You know what makes my day? When I discover a new protocol, and I go to Github to download a library, because I don't want to have to engage with the protocol directly. Chances, this library's going to

Star Trek TNG: Season 3 Bench Watching
Seemed like a good idea to rewatch Star Trek TNG on Netflix. Started from Episode 1, and right now, I'm two thirds of the way through season 3. It's an interesting watch. The stories mostly hold

Remember kids, it's in the headers
Good morning, my beautiful steeps, I've been racking my brain all night to figure this out, and I hope this might be useful to someone. I set up my ipfs node server thingy. Made it writeable, got my CORS

So tonight, we're going to try to get to the bottom of the ERROR commands/h: err: multipart: NextPart: EOF handler.go:285 error in ipfs at the api level. Like I said before. It's a good thing it's written in Go.

I wonder how many other tools like this there are out there. Going to have to look into it. Love the concept. The concept is the future. This really is how we should be doing things. Let's see what the options are.

Playing with IPFS this morning, I noticed the whole thing was written in Golang. Now the etherium lectures make a lot more sense. And the oddball api errors make sense too. Someone misplaced a flush. For shame... I'm gonna have to edit this. Damn.

If there is one truth about the universe, it's this: If I didn't write that piece of code, it's complete shit. Sorry, just the way it is. Hope you understand.

IPFS: My first impression
Thought it would take me longer to get set up with ipfs than it did. Pretty much every resource I could find on the subject would expound at length about how awkward and difficult to use it is. Seriously,

So, I decided to binge-watch Star Trek TNG. It's cheesier than I remember it. More inline with the original show than anything since. What I find frustrating about Star Trek in general is the technology curve of the thing. It's all over the place.

Some random 4am thoughts on coding
As I'm sitting here at 4 am, I find myself wondering if frameworks are really needed anymore. Not just in php, but pretty much in any language. Why are we using these horrid, clunky, memory sucking machines
