You know what makes my day? When I discover a new protocol, and I go to Github to download a library, because I don't want to have to engage with the protocol directly. Chances, this library's going to be a pain in the ass to install because of the way people write code these days.
But, finally get it in and working, only to learn that the guy who wrote the library doesn't actually know the protocol, like, at all, and he didn't even bother to test his code. And then I either have to fix the library, or write a new one that actually works. Yeah, makes me happy.
