Hello fellow Hive musicians and music lovers. I'm new here, so bear with me, but I would like to introduce a sampling of my music over the coming weeks. I'm going to start at the beginning and go forward. It's been a journey, and what's going on now is quite different than (and evolved from) what I was releasing 10+ years ago.
I wrote and first released this little tune in 2008. Rare photos of baby me:
Wow picture quality has come a long way in 13 years...
I later re-released it along with a few others in 2016. I think it's the only straight-up "love song" I've ever written. Generally, I find love songs a bit boring. I'm not into romantic movies or novels either, go figure. But this song, despite its simplicity, has remained a favorite among fans and friends. Hope you enjoy. :-)
