Since the moment you were born, you are destined to go back. The tortuous and smooth joys are your destiny. Destiny is always with you, always. Don't be afraid of its mystery, though sometimes it is unpredictable; don't be afraid of its impermanence, though sometimes it comes and goes without trace.
Do not bow to the absurdity of fate, let alone its mercy. When you are old, look back on the past and you will find that half of your destiny is in your hands, and only the other half is in God's hands. All you have in life is to use what you have in your hands to get what God knows.
The more extraordinary your efforts, the greater the half you hold, and the more you get. When you are completely desperate, don't forget that you have half of your destiny; when you are proud and forgetful, don't forget that God has half of your destiny. Your life's effort is to get half of God's hands with your own half. This is the life of fate; this is the fate of a lifetime.
