This post is inspired from a recent video about spammers by fellow YouTuber and Steemit poster @jetiknight. JetiKnight was talking about people who just slap there referral codes in your comment sections on your videos. I have been having the same problem recently as I make more posts and videos.
Firs of all, I delete their comments immediately.
As I'm getting deeper into crypto I am enjoying this community more and more. There are so many people providing information and support for new comers and all that watch, while hopefully putting some earnings in their own pocket. So when somebody takes their time do some research and make a video and then somebody else just slaps their referral code in the comments section, that type of thing cheapens the community. I would be more understanding if they put a well thought comment followed by a referral. They can't even do that. Or a comment plus "use my Genesis code and I'll use yours" is fine.
So don't just piggyback on other peoples time and work. At least be constructive and say something.
The crypto community is a community of freedom. This is your chance to show how you behave when there aren't laws telling you how to. This is an opportunity to be decent above the ones that aren't.
