Scientology has some very interesting aspects. It is also evil and creative in both a malicious and entertaining way.
Here is trick one of many I learned while in Narconon, which Scientology owns.
The premise of this dastardly trick is based on the idea that one person only has so much energy to launch an attack upon another opponent, in what would seem to be an otherwise fair argument, or a meeting as most people call them. Also debates have a rhythm that can be thrown off, making a person lose their train of thought or worse, their composure.
Again this is an unfavorable method to get results. It is a good way to get punched in the face or make someone cry. There is a good chance of both.
The first step is a confrontational body posture. Square your shoulders to him or her and lean your head to one side as people normally do when they are listening. Pretend you are listening to their viewpoint and appear calm.
Then when they pause, expecting your rebuttal, launch an attack by claiming something entirely untrue and completely ridiculous. The more ridiculous and hard to prove or defend, the better, to a certain extent.
These are some good examples:
"You are drunk and work as an escort on the weekends."
"You hate Christmas and never bought a gift for someone else in your life."
"You triple bag your groceries for no reason and throw all your trash in the Pacific Ocean."
If you notice, each of these has two parts, both being perceived as highly unfavorable. More on this in a minute.
It is important that you do not go too far and claim something so outlandish that it causes the person to laugh. It is also important that it is not extraordinarily mean. If the person laughs, you lose control of the situation and the opponent may turn the laughter towards you. If it is too mean, the spectators will turn on you.
Throw the phony accusation out there and watch your opponent expend their energy in abhorrence and completely justified rage. They will struggle to choose which of the two items to respond to, as they try to decide, they will appear unprepared, which they are. Wait until you can tell their energy level has decreased slightly and they have started to regain their composure.
It is now you drop the real bomb on them. Simply add, "And you also _________."
This blank should be the original argument or meeting topic. Such as:
"And you are wrong about the Davidson account!"
"And you are wrong about the development costs!"
"And you are wrong about the Bitcoin bubble!"
The opponent has expended their best energy defending and reacting to the false accusations, and can no longer think clear enough to calmly explain why they are right, even if they are.
Avoid religions that use deception and force, and all meetings at work if at all possible.
