It is widely known that Japan is one of the countries that sees a lot of future in cryptocurrencies, so much so that it is now planning to create a new financial infrastructure that will rival that of Swift.
The new Japanese initiative. has been dubbed as the SWIFT of cryptocurrency, as it plans to become the cryptocurrency alternative of SWIFT and will be used on an international scale with features that will enable them and authorities to thwart money laundering.
This new network will be designed to resemble SWIFT in terms of cross-border partnerships as well as access, but it will have nothing or little to do with traditional banks and will be something that is quite different from what we have seen so far.
How the new infrastructure will be designed or will it using technologies that are already existing in the market remains a mystery as there was no additional information given about the matter.
