Thanks for your detailed comment! I agree to most of that.

Regarding inflation not being manifested on "every day" goods, I agree, the trend is disinflationary. The key behind this trend is technology. Although, potential trade wars may change this up to a certain extent in the future.

You may not be hit by inflation on bread and milk (or even on your netflix subscription), but you are hardly hit on other areas, like education, or house buying. And most everyday people aspire to consume goods/services like education or houses, besides bread and milk.

So counting "inflation" only on bread and milk (CPI) and ignoring the inflation in education, property and all other assets, looks like a scam to me. A well served lie for the masses.

I agree on everything you wrote about cryptos.
