what is NFC ring?

NFC ring is company that sells a large selection of products to do with NFC. For those not in the know, NFC (Near Field Communication) is a technology that allows contactless transfer of data. All contactless payment credit/debit cards use NFC, for example. NFCRing makes rings with two NFC chips on opposite sides, meaning you can can store two sets of data on your finger. The really cool thing is that NFC ring is water resistant and does not need to be recharged ever! Here are some of the products currently being sold:

As you can see there is a nice variety of rings. Some are made of ceramic and some are metal. The prices range from £15-35 with free international shipping, which I feel is actually very reasonable. The company accept payment in Bitcoin too, which is good news for us crypto guys!

The new product is even cooler!

The latest product allows you to link a NFC credit/debit card to your ring, allowing you to make payments by just touching the payment receiver with your ring! It hasn't been released yet, and is in pre-order. It costs a little more than the others, at £69.99. It is available in black and white.

What will I use it for?

I have pre-ordered the payment enabled NFC ring. I think this will be very useful for us crypto guys! On the inside I can put the contactless payment for my bank account (or Bitpay account when that starts working) and on the outside I will put all my public keys for all my crypto wallets. Meaning that no matter where
I am, I can touch my ring to a phone and instantly find the receive key to all my accounts.
