Chaincoin: a great investment or just another shitcoin?

Chaincoin has been getting a lot of attention recently, reaching over 6 dollars per coin a couple of days back. But the real question is: is Chaincoin just a pump and dump shitcoin or is it a coin with a great future? Well, I will attempt to answer that question.

As you can see, Chaincoin had been fairly low valued for a long time and if you are lucky enough to have purchased some Chaincoin at $0.0001 cent you are most likely very happy right now. The current Price is $3.62 and seems to be stabilizing from the initial price explosion. This is the chart for the last week.

This type of graph is reminiscent of a pump and dump, but does that mean it isn't worth investing in? No, not necessarily. Chaincoin is a coin in and of itself and is not attempting to copy another coin (I am looking at you, Bytecoin and Dashcoin). Chaincoin is a Masternode coin, and one of the cheaper ones at that. While PIVX and NEM costs tens of thousands to set up and a Dash costs Hundreds of thousands, Chaincoin (at the current price) costs a much more modest three and a half thousand to set up.

All masternode coins give people a good incentive to HODL. The promise of ongoing revenue just for holding is a tempting offer. To my mind this does help slightly protect the coin from a complete dump (although, only a bit). The Chaincoin community have set their sights on HODLing and promoting the coin to such an extent that they want a masternode to generate 10,000 dollars a month. Now let me be clear, I think this estimate is wishful thinking, but I would rather people have unrealistic goals than have no goals at all. Here is what a masternode can generate in today's prices:

A monthly income of 124 dollars isnt bad when you think about it. Sure the value of Chaincoin could plummet tomorrow making those numbers plummet with it, but it could not! It could turn out to be a coin that does very well. Chaincoin has a very active and dedicated following, all of which seem to have the HODL mentality through and through. A devout following is important for the long term success of a coin. When we look at all the successful coins they all have a strong following.

I am not suggesting that everybody go out and buy Chaincoin, it is up to you to decide if it is worth the gamble or not and I acknowledge that it is risky! Personally I do believe there is a future for chaincoin, and while I do think that the aspirations of some of the Chaincoin community are grossly overblown, I do think Chaincoin has a pretty solid shot at hitting 20 dollars in the next 12 months.

Please let me know what you think, Is Chaincoin a shitcoin or a massive investment opportunity? Do you like it or do you think its a waste of time?

Happy Trading
