Today I'll leave you with this skin study. Made in photoshop. No existential questions, just a study to get a handle on skin color, texture, and tattoos. Notice how the mint greens in the background enrich the pink tones of the skin. I was looking for the right color for dark skin tones. I've made the hair black so the contrast to the dark skin tones is apparent. The dark skin is ranged from purple, red and browns. As desaturated colors in the black range often make the subject flat, as you can see in her hair.
