Healthy competition is one thing. But this is crazy nonsense on a whole new level!
Fucking Crypto card providers. Some of them really need to get their shit together.
I can’t stand all the hype and FOMO from noob investors.
Ten-X, Spectrocoin, Cryptopay, Tokencard, Monaco, Wirex, Xapo, prepare to get your asses handed to you….
Don’t play with other people’s hard earned money if you have no experience!
First off, don’t do an ICO just because you have a half-baked idea to rip-off Xapo or Wirex with a couple of bullshit twists that you convince idiots are groundbreaking innovations.
And please. If you’re doing a whitepaper, at least give your audience the respect of actually writing something that’s relevant. Don’t add fancy technical words just to try and sound impressive.
Just look at what Centra-Tech wrote on page 2 of their ICO whitepaper: The main passage introducing the ‘problem’ their service is meant to solve:
Bullshit!!!
That has literally, absolutely NOTHING to do with anything related to your crypto card. At all. BIG EGOS, false promises and bright visions will not make people like you.
You can pay all the Mayweathers and Hiltons you want for social media publicity; but your reputation is on the line. One Scam, one DAO can be all it takes to ruin your reputation.
Contactless cards promised with an ICO scheduled for Sep 18.
Was sponsoring gambling not profitable enough for you?
Also, what about those ponzi bitcoin mining websites? Didn’t you make a fortune already by scamming vulnerable investors looking to make a quick buck?
I’m picking up a pattern of feeding off the vulnerable here. Don’t play the card of good guys, when there are people screaming you are stealing their bitcoins!

Monaco, gotta hand it to you, gorgeous video production! That 5 minute presentation followed me around YouTube for weeks!
But really good job on the professionalism. It sounded so good. Gorgeous premier founder cards and all of that. Still we don’t know if you’ll be able to pull it off, I’m betting no, but you’ve got your chance.
Face it. You need to pivot your business model to attend to high-net worth individuals for cold-storage digital asset protection, and probably just partner with a leading crypto card provider. You have fuck all support, you take ages to verify, and your rates are shit. You’re falling behind the times. Website still looks awesome though. And can’t say cold storage isn’t a good idea after all.
Where is the money being spent from the recent SBI backing? You’re not without faults. Track record shows a pretty rocky-road.
Apparently, you say you’ve got 800,000 customers and 1 billion in total transactions now.
Taking ‘early-bird pre-registrations’ is one thing. But what about actual facts? Everyone is able to write stuff nowadays, promising all sort of things. We want ACTIONS!
I think their debit card business is failing so they’re looking to completely pivot into crypto bank accounts. Well, no different to Revolut, Monzo, etc. Nothing new or spectacular imho. Not to mention the reputation decline and scam reports on bitcointalk that they’ve experienced in the past 2 years.
What the industry needs is a serious outfit that can combine globally available crypto cards, multi-currency wallets, AND bank accounts — with low fees! AGAIN, WE WANT TRANSPARENCY NOT BULLSHIT!
Feel free to actually look out for your customers and the growing crypto community will support you.
And stop wasting our god damn time!
